Luke 18:27 The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
As we journey through this Christian life, sometimes we find ourselves facing incredible odds. What are the odds of the church going wife and mother convincing the alcoholic husband to join the family at church? Imagine the number of situations like this across this country. Imagine the wife spending perhaps years dealing with such embarrasment, but yet, still faithfully attending worship service with her children. Imagine her spending countless months or years trying to convince him to come to church. Imagine the number of promises broken by the husband after agreeing to attend worship service with the family on those special Sunday's (Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and Christmas). Imagine after exhausting herself over the years, she finally gives up on her husband. She has spent her time trying to do the impossible...change someone's heart. We the servants of God can only share the Gospel with others and pray that God will touch them. Imagine the joy in the heart of that family upon hearing the squeaking of the church door opening and while looking back to see what was impossible for man, but possible for God. Yes, that used to be alcoholic coming through the church door to be with his family after losing the taste for alcohol and choosing to accept Jesus the Christ as his Lord and Savior. It is impossible for us to change people's heart. God must change the heart of the unsaved and caused them to seek him. God uses man as an instrument to point others to the Savior, but it's impossible for man to save. Whatever your situation may be, just know, all things are possible with God. The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
